Elder Melvin A. Hartdige is saved, filled with the Holy Ghost and loves the Lord.
|
Melvin served in the U.S. Navy for four years and was honorably discharged in 1984. He received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelors Degree in Business Information Systems from West Coast University. He’s currently attending Fuller Seminary in Pasadena,
CA.
Elder Hartdige served faithfully within the ministries of the Church of God in Christ, for, Supt. Rueben P. Anderson -Tower of Faith, and Emeritus Pastor Mendres L. Bereal -Hillside Tabernacle. He is currently a member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ, where he serves as an Elder under the leadership of Bishop Charles E.
Blake.
In the ministry, Elder Hartdige has served as a Sunday School Teacher, Assistant Minister of Music, Bible Study Teacher, Prayer Room/Alter Worker, and President/Youth Teacher (YPWW).
Elder Hartdige now serves as Vice President for the Southern California First Jurisdiction State Evangelism Department. He formerly served as Department Chairman, under Supt. Lazell Rodgers for the State Evangelism Department. He assists in the State Housing/Convention office, under Missionary Frances E. Harris. At the national level, he serves as Administrative Director for Auxiliaries In Ministry (AIM) under Bishop Jerry. W. Macklin. He also served on the state and national election committee for Bishop Charles E. Blake.
Melvin is known for his integrity and exceptional organizational skills. He’s experienced in coordinating conferences, concerts and
revivals.
Elder Hartdige is the founder of HartSeekers Ministry. He constantly vows, “I can do All Things through Christ who strengthens me". He's married to Jamie Hartdige, and has three children and one grandson.
